We are now very humbled by the support of the Richard L. Trumka, president of the AFL-CIO. In this letter to President Obama, Mr. Trumka explains, “While ultimate responsibility for fixing our nation’s broken immigration rests with the Congress, the Administration can take important intermediate steps..”
We completely agree, and Obama need only look at the letter for the 96 professors to remember how.

You can read the actual letter at the link above. He talks about parole in place and work permits for dreamers.

The more pressure facing Obama, the better. We won't be ignored and we're not going away.

There was another sit in scheduled to take place at the Obama re-election campaign office in NC and they closed early. They don't normally close until 9PM Monday through Friday, yet when the DREAMers showed up around 3-4PM, the office was shut tight. I have no idea if they were tipped off that they were coming, but the protesters left a nice little note on the door to let them know they were there and will be coming back.
