Obama's got a point, but he's gotta remember repubs. also have a hard on for not letting other democratic candidates win come 2016; they'll sink the country just to do so (remember the debt ceiling). We know voters have shit for memory and live in the now, that's why there's so much support for the right at the moment.

Let's be clear about one thing, Obama has been consistent in his priorities as President. First and foremost he said he wanted to pass his health care reform and the first two years in office he did so, in 2010 he got around to his next priority which was the dream act. Unfortunately, the repubs took control and filibustered the bill which effectively killed it off.

It DOES suck that it went down that way, but I can't fault the guy for sticking to his priorities like he said he was going to. We gotta remember we shouldn't feel entitled to much of anything at all. Fact is we are lucky that Obama stuck his neck out and introduced the DACA memo. As President of the U.S he has a lot more responsibilities than just focusing solely on immigration reform, as much as it sucks for most of us, it is true.

Someone needs to bet me $10 on this wave of Dreamers.... I bet we will be approved in time for the elections.

And you sir...are my mirror intellectual image!

I agree with everything you say.

Most people forget about the filthy filibusters Republicans continue to hold in the Senate.

Bravo!

I have contributed to Obama's campaign through a friend of mine that IS a citizen.

So there is no excuse to support Obama's campaign!

Even if it is $5 or $10

Exactly. Seriously, Obama is a politician first. He could have put in the Executive Order a long time ago. Why didn't he do it earlier BEFORE Rubio came out with the STARS Act if that was the plan all along? Or why didn't he do it after the Dream Act failed in 2010?

Politicians don't touch immigration unless there's some type of tangible outcome and benefit for them. This is what I've learned over the years. It's not a bad thing, but that's just how the world is.

Don't get me wrong. I'm grateful, but at the end of the day... I'm not going to hold my breath for the Dream Act especially when the economy is in the tank.

LOL, this is the internet and a message board. I'm so confused. Everyone uses abbreviations of everything.

Do you want me to spell "laughing out loud" now? SMH (I did that on purpose, haha)
