so they give licences to the people of california and texas, but what about nevada.

When my soon to be brother in-law was becoming a Resident, he was able to obtain a Nevada license with the work permit (EAD) that was given to him.The only bad thing was that the license expired as soon as the EAD expired & he then had go back and renew it with his Permanent Resident Card. This was in Las Vegas at the Eastern & Sahara office. Hope this helps

you guys worry too much.. Just walk in show your SSN and EAD card. There should be no problem. I've had a license for 6 years now and I don't even have a SSN.
