^are you serious? No one is skipped, the biometric date is just a general pattern and they're not obligated to go in any order. Just be thankful you got this far, we should expect something by end of this week.

I honestly don't think this is unfair, once again this process is on a case by case basis. Some people may have presented more evidence than others, the agent reviewing my case may not be the agent reviewing others. There is just so much things at play, no one said our cases were going to be approve in the order they were received. I have waited over 10 years for a moment like this and a few more weeks or a couple more months won't kill me.

Yes this system is all broken in different ways! First my US citizen stepfather couldn't petition for me because I turned 18 before my parents got married now my mother who is a green card holder did a I-130 for me and I have to wait almost 2-3 years to ADUJUST STATUS?!?! Its bullshit how this dumb immigration systems has its dumb waiting period for each category I'm under F2A and still waiting now I'm waiting for daca to at least approve for a work permit bc I have chronic kidney disease and also have high blood pressure and I can't pay for my meds or anymore check ups to the docs office on my kidneys that's why I'm super pissed with all of this waiting and waiting I could die if I don't have my medication and ect!!!!!!!! My medication is 150 dollors and MRI's and other doctors treatments come up to close to $1000! So yes I'm being serious!

My comment was at your complaint of someone being 'skipped' for DACA, not on the current immigration system as a whole. Of course it's broken, trust me I'm in a F1 category, been waiting 5+ years with another 1.5 to go, even then I probably can't adjust in country.

I'm sure that we will see a lot of approvals this week! Yesterday I made an alert specially for the USCIS # that sent me my text so that when they would text me my phone would go crazy. Today I had to wake up really really early and went to volunteer on my day off. And I was ignoring all the messages I was getting. When I looked at my phone I saw USCIS and I freaked out! They sent it from a different # so I wasn't aware it was them. It really comes by when you least expected. Just don't keep praying and hoping for the best! Just because they haven't got back to you doesn't mean its bad. I was thinking the worst and thinking I was going to get rejected because of many different things and I just was paranoid. So I just started doing other things to keep my mind off it. Which is why I went to go volunteer on my day off. So find something to do, forget about it, and relax. It's a much better feeling when it surprises you! Now I will just wait patiently for my EAD to arrive and I will keep you guys posted (I won't leave like the others who have been approved! lol). The first thing I plan to do is get my license as soon as I get it.

So stay positive, and relax. Everything is going to be just fine!

we all have problems of our own. if we were to put them in a pot and re-choose you'd end up choosing the ones you have once you see just how much better off you are than others. we take too much for granted

I think this is the best method. I didn't bother visiting the board for a week or so before my biometrics appointment. Let the time fly by without the anxiety.

Exactly, thank you. I hope we don't worry themselves to death before we even get our EADs.

I know I get the panic sometimes about my application, but then I remember that I can't control ANYTHING that happens at this point.

I'm really sorry about this situation, but please hold on and don't let this situation get your blood pressure any higher. My father suffers from high blood pressure and any type of additional emotion gets it WAY higher. You just have to remain calm and keep praying (if you are religious) or keep your mind focused on positive things.

I have low back issues right now and had to see doctors for it and it's really hard because I have to work etc, but I'm just trying to keep myself focused on other things and I know I will get better. I know, easier said than done, but I've been very low at times. We've all been there even though our situations may not be exactly the same.
