Today the USCIS mailed me and RFE about time I heard from them i just wished I had sent more evidence and i would of been approved

Yea I prepared mine by myself and was going to prepare my girlfriend's as well, but her parents wanted it "professionally prepared" so they went out and hired a lawyer for $700. Lawyers are slow in sending the applications and they have so many customers they don't have time to personally care about your case.

My lawyer charge me $1500...but with everything that I'm reading I don't know what to expect... Should I be expecting a text or something

You will only receive a text if your lawyer sent the G-1145 form.

all the people who hired lawyers hired only because they are loaded, they still had to do the paper gathering and pretty much most of the leg work. lawyer does like only 4% of the total work.

the rest of us are not poor but rather intelligent people.
