I say comprehensive immigration reform will happen next year. I am betting my well-being on this.

If it does not happen, we can all meet somewhere, and all of you can just beat the beh-jesus out of me.

Aw. I couldn't hurt you Smooth! I like you too much. But all of us can meet in Vegas or SD and drown our sorrows in alcohol and etc if nothing happens.

Something will happen next year no doubt.

Does anyone else think DA is more likely to pass first than CIR within the next 2 years?

Considering that Republicans have been declaring that they want to solve the issue (aka border security, dreamers, non-dreamers, etc..), CIR is more likely to pass than the DA. Some GOP legislators, such as Senator John Cornyn, consider the DA to be a bandaid.

I'm down for Vegas. I would actually be willing to do shit that I'd rather leave there before coming home

I honestly think whatever happens...DACA beneficiaries will surely have Dream Act passed AKA Conditional Green Card AKA Green Card with 365 day travel restriction..I think it was something like that. The battle will be about what type of benefit to give to the rest of the undocumented population..just guest visas or path to green card like us?

If CIR passes, even DREAMers get taken care of, too.
I'd rather see CIR pass so my mom AND I can get our papers.

A USC son/daughter over the age of 21 can petition their parents. Once YOU become a USC than you can petition for your mother.
