This won't happen to Dreamers.I believe in the the last Kennedy-Kyl bill reform Dreamers didn't have to do a touchback and also didn't have to wait until the border was secured.The blueprint clearly states Dreamers and those under the Agjobs program will be treated differently.I would not worry about the current iteration of the blueprint but wait until the actual legislation has been introduced and written which could still take sometime.

Just as I had predicted..IMMEDIATE permanent residency for dreamers. DACAesque status with travel authorization for the rest and we are GOLDEN. Whatever happens, we must push for immediate travel authorization for everybody! But boyyyy this is quite exciting..we could potentially start 2014 as green card holders. God bless President Obama, the Gang of 8, and those individuals who think well of us.

For those asking about us dreamers, this is better than dream act, we would get immediate permanent residency, while with the previous version we were getting a conditional residency first. Note the word "immediate", not back of the line for us (vermont takes long enough already).

I am curious as to this "wait" period for the adults.

I would really like my parents to get their GC too as soon as possible. I don't want them bouncing around with a DACAesque work permit for too long, it's not as stable as a GC.

But, we will just have to wait and see more details.
