For instance, individuals who entered the United States as minor children did notknowingly choose to violate any immigration laws. Consequently, under ourproposal these individuals will not face the same requirements as otherindividuals in order to earn a path to citizenship.
Doesn't mention anything about immediate permanent residency, but it does say our process will be different than others, I.E., not being pushed to the back of the line.

I can't wait to see the time lines..This is a friggen joke..CIR will have all our parents just as we are now..they say certain conditions must be met..e-verify in place and a tracking system for visa's and a secure boarder...FOH..and then go to the back of the line..they would become citizens in 15-20 yrs..Obama needs to lay out his plan...I will say it again..the Dream Act needs to be a stand alone bill..

Didn't we try to pass DREAM Act as a standalone already?

And even if DREAM Act were to pass this time around, why would the Republicans do anything for the remainder of the undocumented population? What would be the incentive? They would have "helped" the DREAMers and gotten everything they wanted in terms of border security. So, where would that leave Mom and Dad? Or the other DREAMers who have been waiting for the past few years with the rest of us, but are now too old to qualify?

I agree. If we ask for too much CIR will get kicked down further down the road and more dreamers will age out, our friends and family members will get deported or they'll have to endure more hardships.....all because WE want more? Not cool. Even if I have to wait 3 years for a green card and if my mom has to wait years for hers, I think it's fair.

We have to compromise. If the work permits (advanced parole) allow us to travel abroad without triggering the 3/10 year ban, what more do we want? Our parents/relatives would be happy with that.

Special treatment for CIR will derail the whole thing, so lets be wise about this.

God bless president obama, the gang of 8, and those individuals who think well of us.

I dont see anything that says immediate permanent residency. It does say "earn" a pathway to citizenship. Immediate PR is hardly earning our pathway to citizenship

Yeah me neither

It does not say immediate on the PDF file released. all it was was hypothetical and nothing is congruent and clear. Until we see an actual bill/act proposed with an outline at least being pushed, then we can get all exicited . Until then speculation and guessing with assuming is all we can do for now. Now to hear Obamas official proposal tmr

It says we immeditatly go to back of line and the other undocumented immigrants must wait for the border to be secure then go back of the line .

Text? Anyways nothing concrete that I can see. These 'lines for PR' can range from 1-22 years so they should let us know what they mean by 'back if the line'.
