HISTORIC stuff...Durbin and Gutierrez have come through for us by bringing our issue to the FRONT burner finally!! This CIR bill should be named "The Senator Ted Kennedy Immigration Reform Act" in honor of the great Senator! Damn going to have to make a visit to the great state of ILLINOIS soon in honor of Durbin, Gutierrez, and Obama!

Did not get to watch the video yet.

But was it clarified in this video about DACAs or Dreamers who haven't gotten any degree yet?

If I am say 25 and I start college this year, then generally I won't be getting a Bachelor until like 2017 at age 29.

I believe Dream Act was always about if you had the degree or it gives you time to get the degree.

It would suck if you would have to have the degree in hand at the time of the bill passing...ouch...

Did you ever actually read what the Dream Act was from previous attends?

Here

http://dreamact.info/students

Enroll in an institution of higher education in order to pursue a bachelor's degree or higher degree or
Enlist in one of the branches of the United States Military
Within 6 years of approval for conditional permanent residency, the individual must have completed at least two (2) years of one of the options outlined in the previous step
Once 5 ½ years of the 6 years have passed, the individual will then be able to apply for Legal Permanent Residency (dropping the conditional part) and consequently will be able to apply for United States Citizenship

Those who have already completed at least 2 years of college education towards a bachelor's degree or higher degree, will still have to wait the 5 ½ years in order to apply for Legal Permanent Residency even though you may have already obtained a degree.
