Come on man use your forehead for one second, please..
Where are we advocating for criminals here? I, we, have a problem where more than half of deportations do not involve criminals, as it is currently the case. Criminal activity hasn't been defined for CIR yet. For example, people driving without a license are being left off the hook, and I don't agree. Even if is not DUI, you can bankrupt someone, a family by being uninsured as you aren't a licensed driver. And I don't even go into medical liability should someone get injured.

It's easy for you to blabber your mouth off as you are not the one being deported; it does anger me that parents and workers are being expelled. The statistics show it; look up Syracuse University's TRAC

http://trac.syr.edu/immigration/reports/281/

The table shows deportation orders sough by "criminal activity" vs. ulawful status; the percentage of "criminal activity" deportation cases is a whooping...1%!! This should help you see my point, if you're interested.

I highly doubt that they are interested. Its all about CIR/DA for a lot of people. Many could care less about the details of those deported unless it absolutely involves them. My friend's father was deported. Visa overstay. ICE showed up at his job out of the blue. They have been living here for 20 years. She didn't even get a chance to say goodbye. First call was "I am being detained by immigration". The second call was "I'm in Mexico".
