The last Dream Act had an age cutoff of 35, I believe. In any case, I'm positive they would include a provision that gives everyone who already received DACA a "head-start."

As much as I'm happy to hear that DA is bring reintroduced, I hope they keep CIR as the main focus.

A head start in what, exactly?

Here you go:

The strategy in introducing it now is to build on the momentum that already exists for immigration reform and to highlight the impact of our broken immigration system on the Dreamers and their families."

it has higher chance to pass in both house and senate i think. I think it should be standalone and dont attach it to any cir or gay lesbian bill.

This is looking fucking AWESOME!!!

But I hope CIR still passes, and passes soon.

If DA passes and CIR fails, I will be one sad panda...but I will be working my hardest to take care of my family. I know deep down my family is counting on me, they sacrificed everything to put me in this position, and it is my obligation and unconditional love to return the high five back to them.

In 2010 I was 28 now I just turned 31. The 2010 DREAM version was scaled back from 35 to 30 so we have to be careful. This is a fact, it was not 35 but 30 at the end, and I think they also took out family sponsorship.

The upper age limit should not be included in the bill at all. It never made sense and with the "republican awakening" over immigration I do not believe its needed.
