And Obama still gave us DACA, unexpected for that matter too. I m not gonna put all my hope in him, but hey this time around he can pretty much do whatever he wants...he's now worried about his legacy. What makes you believe the Democrats are gonna lose control of the senate in 2014, please tell us. If anything, Democrats are lined up perfectly to pick up more seats or remain the majority.

Republicans will never get the hispanic vote because they jusr dont underatand huspanic people. Everytime Obama is will to comprise forward they move backwards but the gang of eight idea with its unclear until the borders are secure and Obama's leak one are sound very good
Normally I would agree with he needs to take an aggressive approach, but in this case it's really best for him to back off, his bill would never pass because it doesn't have a guest worker program meaning, you legalize all the undocumented workers in the fields down south and they won't work those jobs anymore, so who will? Not Americans, and not illegals because the whole point of the CIR bill is to cut down on illegal workers, so there has to be a guest worker program for people to come seasonal and do the work then go back home.

If Obama is too aggressive the republicans will just back off and they won't vote in the senate.

It was definitely a political move and it worked. Im not saying hes not in our team, but that was politics. Personally I feel like if CIR fails DA will too. His bill is a good backup if things don't start moving, but chances of passing are slim. Lets hope for a good bipartisan bill to come out soon.
