6 months? All people gotta do is apply and that is it. Even if they are not process yet, the fact they did it within the time period is good enough. So you guys better tell your folks to start gathering all of their records and get some money.

You're having people apply for DACA even now (8 months later), obviously not as much as back when it opened up Aug-Oct, but still. Sometimes it takes a while to either gather up documents or save up cash (especially if the fee will be high, and I doubt they will be doing payment plans).

Is the application process (to submit the application) going to happen AFTER the border is secured? Or are we going to be submitting applications during their border enhancement? I need some time to save money for my parents! Most likely after, since USCIS would need time to make the application and process to start accepting applications. They better get their shit together.

We submit our applications, we get provisional status were we have to prove we are employed every six or so months, we pay back taxes assuming you never filed, then after 10 years, we eligible for a green card, 3 years after than we can apply for citizenship, however, before we get our green card, the border needs to be deemed secure which could take who knows how many years
