Dreamers will have to apply for provisional legal status, after 5 years they can become Permanent Residents, while at the same time, they become eligible for Citizenship.

Its a provisional green card for 5 years (dreamers) and citizenship after the 5 years is up, isnt it? Similar to DACA. Apply ---> Approval ---> EAD.

CIR: Apply > Approval > Green card (5 years-dreamers) > Citizenship.
It seems to be the most plausible explanation for now until we have further details.I don't understand how a Dreamer can meet the residency qualification for Naturalization without a green card of sorts.

I know! It's great!

Just wait until it becomes real. It will be madness.

I'm guessing the provisional legal status time ( 5 years) will count towards Naturalization. That's why at the end of the 5 years we will be eligible for PR and Citizenship at the same time.

That's what I thought it said.

I know. We still need to hear it from the source.

Hate to remind everyone of the old miserable days but do you remember the pre-DACA days when we were expecting Rubio to introduce his Dream Act Lite version? Curses were flying from left and right each second of the day on DAP. Also, December 2010 right after the DA vote this place was like a cemetery.
