Ok, I'm fine, but, I don't see the age cap anywhere...which page/line is it under? And is the age cap at introduction or passage. I am fully aware I can answer my own questions, but I've not time until tonight and the nerves are killing me.

The DREAM Act section of the bill is poorly written. It leaves too much room for inconsistent interpreation. We need the authors of the bill to create a Q and A forum.

I believe we would be "grandfathered" into RPI, which might mean we won't have to file an application, or if we do, it would be quite simple.

As someone who works in healthcare with some of the best surgeons in the area, in one of the top 5% hospitals in the nation for our specialty, I can tell you that it'll depend on whether you live in a liberal state.

What worries me personally is age, because medical schools, want to make sure that their investment will be returned to the community and the profession. Also, the investment part applies to foreign medical school graduates who apply for residency in the U.S. Most will have to apply to places with underserved areas, hence enter the J1 medical visa, because medical institutions would not give up a spot to a foreign graduate vs. an American one.

So, if you are permitted to enter and graduate med school and live and practice in the U.S., the state where you attend will have the final say? I've been researching into it a bit, not allowing myself too much room because you cannot living under uncertainty, but hopefully it'll change soon. Best wishes to you.

Circa is the Financial Expert. I believe we really need Ianus to show us the light with this Senate bill for now. I'm sure things will get clear as they start marking up this bad guy in the judiciary committee. I certainly hope Leahy follows up with his word.
