I have the same question. If you have completed a B.A. and all do you have to wait five years? Can we cut it to 3?

You mean an RPI cannot be unemployed for more than 60 days as well as for Dreamers?

lol, whats the deal with the pay back tax thing under Dreamer path?

Whats the process like?

Do we claim we didn't pay like say $1000 or something? Is it just a flat fine that has a fancy name called "back taxes"?

Any info on that process, how it will work? And it is needed for the 10 year mark to gain citizenship?

EDIT: What the heck? that back taxes or fine is only under the Dreamer part, where is the fine/back tax portion under the other 2 pathways (If there is one...wtf?)...I'm just confused alittle...

Visual, of path to citizenship??? I am not a grammar queen but it made sense when I read it.

Whatevers...ESL....

I think you might be reading it wrong. For dreamers basically they are saying that we would of have to be here the last 5 years (If you are under daca is covered). Then we are eligible and then we wait 5 years for citizenship.

If you look on the left side where the number 1/2 is then look across it says the other two paths have to pay taxes too.

Nevermind, I googled it.

Assessment of tax sounds like some kind of court proceeding, or interview maybe?...I don't know.

My yearly income has always been laughable, so I don't know how this assessment really works, but if I have to pay for back tax/fines for all the years I was undocumented whether I worked or not, then this is really going to put a hamper on my college plans...having to pay tuition, tax fines, and all other things...I might have to work full time and probably go to college part time...

...I really wanted to do College full time...

Consecutive days. so that means if you get laid off you can find temporary work here and there right? I always find side jobs on Craigslist lol specially for temporary excavator operators.

The 5 years under RPI counts effectively if approved for Permanent residency toward Naturalization, meaning it is 5 years.
