I don't think there's anything wrong with what the other poster said. He or she only wants to be treated like any other person on this country. Also, you'll pay into the system for social security, unemployment, etc. in the form of taxes so the entitlements are there when you need it and should be only when you need it, which is what the majority of people do.

Don't think you're any better than other people for needing these services. You never know, you might need some of it in your life in the case of unemployment and others, and you'll definitely need it for social security and medicare once you hit old age.

But he specifically said he wants welfare too. Seriously? This sends out the wrong message to any outsiders who are browsing the forum.

He also said "anything that us citizens have" so I'm thinking its more of an equality issue as in being treated as any other American or soon to be American rather than wanting welfare per se.
