I generally like Bill Clinton, but I don't really trust him on immigration issues because the 1996 law which made things far worse was done under his watch and he signed it into law.

What did the 1996 bill do you ask? The 10 year penalty was in there. It also made many more categories where those with green cards could be deported - including false claim of citizenship. So no, Bill Clinton is not a friend of immigrants unless they have big boobs.

It indeed was the most harshest law ever but what about the 245i? I did like the 245i.
