I think you have your Hitler analogy backwards. Just replace the stuff they were saying about the Jews with "gays" and you have the same sort of argument those against gay marriage are saying. It's the same thing they were saying about blacks and interracial marriages in the "good old" days too...replace the word "jew" with the word "black". Then replace the world "black" with the word "illegal".

For as long as I live, I don't understand why people are fascinated to keep others from having the same rights that they themselves enjoy. I'm sure this is justified by the bible or some other tool to legitimize the hate but self delusion aside, it is nothing but hate towards someone who is different or doesn't have power. In our case, it's those who bring statistics to show we are the source of every problem this country has seen. You have pastors who blame hurricanes on gays too.

I've been critical of gay rights activists before, but that was only in the context of them possibly derailing immigration reform. It was never because I want to deny them any rights. I was also correct that the two issues are separate and if gay marriage would be legalized, they'd automatically get immigration benefits too so there was no point in risking CIR.

I for one think this is fantastic news. Get those green cards, gay Dreamers!

(Ending on a down note about the Roberts Court though. They've made awful decisions like Citizens United and the recent VRA ruling)

This is huge especially since the couple was from a state that doesn't recognize same sex marriage...

Please stop embarrassing yourself all over this website.
