To those who say that the Dems would never sign a bill requiring a guilty charge in federal court for immigration benefits, I ask you to read what the Obama administration just did to ACA this week.

The great and wonderful ACA employer mandate was delayed for another year until 2015. So, once again, businesses are off the hook, but the individual mandate still stands. People better get insured or else they will pay a penalty tax next year. Now, maybe this is also a sign of CIR and waiting until 2015 - just like TPS.

Next year, it will be illegal for "illegals" to have health insurance - PRIVATE health insurance- health insurance PAID out of pocket. PAID by the employer.

But never fret, because if you are a woman, then boy, are we lucky, just get pregnant, and DSHS (MEDICAID) will cover all of it. And since they are stalling CIR and you do not have paperwork to look for better employment that can afford you to raise your children, this time you also need not fret.

Taxpayers will cover all of it. School, healthcare, food if need be, special ed, after school programs, etc, etc. What reasonable politician, Republican or Democrat, would prefer this situation? A lot of them, unfortunately.

Republicans do not realize that immigrants are incredibly productive, proud, believe in personal responsibility and want to be financially independent. We do not need welfare. The system, as described above, creates a model and incentive for undocumented people to live off taxpayer funds because federal and state agencies and their workers depend on these people needing their services to remain employed by the government.

My parents deserve citizenship as much as I do.. If not more so idk what you're talking about...

They left everything they knew and took a chance, worked their asses off and pay their taxes, I don't see how they're less deserving than me?

The Repubs crack me up. Just come out and say it already..."we like u guys better as illegals. U keep our wages down and u are forced to take whatever we feel like giving u...u guys as illegals are a win win...why change a good thing?"
My question exactly. Honestly, I'm not concerned about what DREAMers will get. I worry about how they plan to screw our parents with their "path to legalization".

I really want CIR though, my dad deserves it. He pays his taxes and never breaks any laws except for driving around.

yeah this is my only concern. I frankly don't care if I get a gc. I just want my parents to have something for them.

What one provision written in anyone's bill should state is once your app is received the clock should start ticking, see if it takes u 1yr to get a biometrics appointment then another 2yrs for approval u will already have walked off 3yrs, but we have all seen on our EAD & DACA Your time doesn't start until approval which is great for us,but for CIR the wait time will not count towards the 13 - 15 yr wait for GC..
yeah but either this or you can remain the way you are with DACA or being illegal.

Its unfair and bad and whatnot but whats the alternative?

We all need to stop giving the annoying child attention, doesn't matter what he'd say, his messages are just spam, don't even bother acknowledging them anymore
