lmfao.... Dont forget to have clean record, higher than normal IQ, college DEGREES, and be capable to speak only English (as most truly american kids)... Kids act is a joke; just another method to make CIR stagnant and dysfunctional.

Remember that on an LA Times article from yesterday:
Quote:
Cantor has not specified who would be covered by his approach, but he seems likely to include only those immigrants who are still children, rather than young adults, who would be covered by the Democratic proposal.
It's honestly starting to sound ludicrous. What's next, a piecemeal approach to the Dream Act? Perhaps their next move is to legalize only the Dream infants (less than 1 year old) once the border is secured, then once the e-verify system is implemented, the toddlers (1-3 yo) can apply, etc. If an eligible applicant was found to have family-based misdemeanors (e.g., disobeying parents), then they are disqualified immediately.

I guess I'll go load up on extra lubricated condoms because I have a feeling I'm going to get screwed again with the age limit. Why would they not call it the DREAM Act? Because they're going to legalize 16-20 year olds.

30, huh? I guess it's the old "I'll get mine so screw everybody else".

The House is just wasting everybody's time. I doubt they have the votes to pass this KIDS Act without Dem support, which the article already says they don't.

I'm sure you'll be included in the end, lol. The Senate Democrats know about the issue concerning those who age-out very clearly judging by the compromise Durbin was involved in.

I just think the House Republicans should also include legal immigrants who also grew up here with the same age requirements when they were young. It would mitigate the so called 'amnesty' claim in addition give incentive for H1B visa holders to push the act over the top for their derivative children.

Am saying it should be 30 because of DACA, lets get that clear here. Also the house Dems will get some say into this KIDS bill basically another deadlock because no one is going to get what they want.Don't try to take this shit out on me with a back handed comment, Obama laid that shit out.
