And yet, we are being punished for it, not physically punished like in the 60's, but nonetheless punished. Just because it's not physical doesn't mean it doesn't affect people as much.
So if you're being punished why are you still here then? See when I get hurt I look for what's causing the pain and move away. This is not anything close as the civirl rights and you should feel bad for thinking. No it wasn't your decision to come here but it was yours when you turned 18. I know you want to blame people for your situation but there will come a point when you will say. " you know I'm tired of being mentally lynched burned and hated I think I will take action and leave this country" the last guy who started to think he was a black of the 60s and demanded rights. He backpedaled when we call him out. Don't disappoint us and give us a good show, allright ?

Why not leave if we are being punished? Because self-deportation is not a viable option, but perhaps you agree with Mitt Romney's policy but I certainly do not. If the rule of the land is to treat us as second-class citizens, then we change that rule, we change the law. Senate passage is one step closer to legal parity and this was a great moment that was briefly cheered by a few people in the gallery.

See, these statements are scary as hell, when I read these kinds of post I think what if I was a citizen of this country or hell what if illegal aliens came to my country and started saying they are going to change the laws?

Second class citizen? It sucks and all if this does happened but tell me: what exactly is the alternative? If you don't want to be treated like a second class citizen (which is ironic seeing how we are not even citizens at all) which I am sure you are now anyways, the best option is to find a different alternative. I don't know about you but being treated a second class citizen is a lot better than being treated as nothing more than a peasant back home. Our parents did immigrate here for a reason. Even as second class citizens, its a lot better than what we had a home. If it wasn't we wouldn't be here now would we?

Swift sit down and wait for your approval... Engaging in these type of arguments will make your wait seem longer... Not denying you your entitlement to express your views, just saying.
