For me yes, from reading the guidlines, I qualify.
I'm considering applying for this. My question is if I'll be able to adjust status without re-entry if grated the PR. I had a visa overstay, and now I'm under DACA.

Does anyone have a quick and easy explanation of 245i? Seems like you need to have a pending petition from a relative or something to adjust status?

I don't have that, never have...how do we know 245i is needed for this?

I checked the requirements for this Visa Lottery and it says either High School requirement or trained experience in a qualified occupation...thats it?...

I would love to send in an application for the fun of it on October 1, but not sure if truly eligible.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was just looking at the Occupation Requirement section...turns out you need to visit your Embassy, fill out forms, prove eligibility for the Via Lottery through interviews and the whole deal...lol......

My birth country is eligible and up to 2 years ago I had applied for this from the first day they had it. Unforunately, even if I won, I couldn't readjust my status according to my lawyer which makes this a bullshit rule that takes visas away from other ways.

I have met a few winners. Usually some toothless hillbilly from some village somewhere who has no business being here.
