Saying we deserve rights because other groups got them in the past base on something totally different, is really just leeching off their struggle. You want to just ride the waves they with their lives, set down for you.
We don't face anywhere near the prejudice these people were facing because again, they had the right to vote, they had the Constitution protecting them and guess what? they were denied that. They were harassed for standing up for themselves, spit upon when they tried to integrate to white only schools even when the state demanded that they did. People weren't discreet about their racism, they were full arms open about it. Do we see some racism nowadays? YES but it isnt anywhere near as bad as it used to be. Imagine groups like the KKK burning down virgin maries in front of you house as they burned crosses or community. Imagine waking up and seeing a close friend lynched and burned then hang near a polo for everyone to see.
Imagine having to sit in the back because you're illegal oh wait you totally don't and you totally don't even drink from different fountains because youre illegal.
"but but but my ID has 2 years and its different!! this is totally discrimination"
Is there a clause that says we can't discriminate against people who are here with out authorization? Not saying we should but is there one?
"you shall not denied a job to those who are illegally, you should not denied ID to those who are illegally this is discrimination"
I don't see anything like this
