Jeh Johnson as DHS Secretary

According to news reports, President Obama will nominate Jeh Johnson, a former top Pentagon lawyer, as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security on Friday. He will replace former DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, who resigned to become president of the University of California system. The Daily Beast reports that Johnson was a key part of many sensitive national security and counterterrorism policies, such as ramping up the drone program and the repeal of the Defense Department’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. We need to find the requirments for renewal for DACA

Should be up sometime within the next year perhaps the Summer of 2014. It should have the same requirements- Education, Age, and Presence/Continuous Presence.

I would imagine if you sent in previous evidence then you would only need to send supplemental evidence (e.g. If you sent transcripts if you were in school; you would send updated transcripts or a diploma (if graduated) AND evidence of continuation of presence in the US).

lol, I just thought of something.

I think that some renewals may take so long, they may tip over into undocumented territory again for who knows how long before they get their renewal...

...lol this DACA renewal thing could turn out to be a pain in the ass.
