There any particular reason you folks say these things when all evidence points towards the opposite? Some people like setting themselves up for severe disappointment.
I ask because there are a lot of other things you could do other than have delusional expectations. Fill your time with something positive until CIR comes around again to the discussion when there aren't as many tea party loons ruining the show (hopefully soon).
A few months before DACA was announced, I was prepped and ready to move to a new country because I only have 1 life and I'm not letting it hinge on science illiterate politicians who think wind is a finite resource (yes, one of the Republicans on the science committees).
The right wing will always find an excuse to delay any action on immigration. From shutdowns to people yelling "amnesty", there is always something. CIR isn't coming this year or even the next. If you think it is, I've got a Nigerian brother in law who happens to be a prince who needs your help! Send me money and I'll make sure it gets to him.
