Take this with a grain of salt guys. It's an article someone I follow on Twitter shared.

New reports show that CIR is backed by a solid and consistent majority of Americans. The administration is facing a lot of pressure to stop deportations and that along with low approval ratings over the ACA roll out could mean something positive in today's announcement.

But, I'm skeptical, so I think he's making an announcement about TPS for the Filipinos due to Typhoon Hayain. I'll post any updates to this from my phone. If Twitter catches fire the way it did when DACA was about to be announced, then I'll post what I find.

Quote:
SAN FRANCISCO — As workers unloaded barricades and risers at the Betty Ong Recreation Center in San Francisco Sunday, Andrew Gonzales stood in line.

“I got an email. I work at Tesla and it said, hey, you’re invited to go see the President,” said Gonzales.

Gonzales says he’s thinks it was a co-worker who put his name on a list of invited guests for the President’s visit Monday to the Betty Ong Center.

Pres. Obama was expected to deliver a significant announcement on immigration at the event, and Ellen Dumesnil, executive director of the International Institute of the Bay Area, told KTVU Sunday that she had high expectations for the speech.

“I’m hoping that President Obama will make a bold move tomorrow with relief for dreamers and their parents,” said Dumesnil, whose organization has served the legal needs of immigrants since 1918.

Immigration reform has stalled in Congress with many expecting that struggle to continue well into 2014.

“I hope he jumps over congress, frankly, and does something bold,” said Dumesnil.

The President is on a West Coast tour that is focused primarily on fundraising events. Of his three scheduled stops in the Bay Area, two are fundraisers, including an event at the SF Jazz Center before 1,100 paid guests.

Major immigration announcements are usually announced on Fridays. Daca was announced on a Friday (June 15, 2012) as well as the recent military one (Nov. 15 a few days ago) and the Morton Memo (June 17, 2011) and the list goes on. In Washington, Fridays are reserved for news dumps since it's end of the news week.

So if it's a Friday, cross your fingers! (lol, sorry couldn't resist)

How dare he not make himself king and do what he wants without other branches of government? I'm so disappointed in him and him alone.
