If you look at the 245i still exists and is on its continuance today, you'll be noticed that there's a possibility still awaits you. Once it passes, it would hardly be discarded and will have branching a variety of alternations.

For those who didn't catch it, there is a NY Times report restating essentially the same things as what Fox News said. But in this buzzfeed article, there is this additional nugget of info:

Quote:
A source with knowledge of the outline of the coming administrative actions told BuzzFeed News the executive order would include 5 million people overall, give work permits to parents of U.S. citizens, lessen the impact of the 10-year bar that forces undocumented immigrants to leave the country for 10 years because of unlawful presence — possibly through the increased granting of waivers — and put an end to Secure Communities.

I think it's somewhat interesting that the fact that 5 million are going to be affected is different than the parents of USC who are going to get work permits. Plus, there's the thing about lessening the 10 year bar, which really has been my problem all along, although I doubt the executive action is going to help me.

Whats up with the bipolar stance? Yesterday you were all happy and motivating now you are kind of depressed and sad. We've been here for a long time you should know that we are dealing with obama and not a world leader.

Thanks NK74 that's really interesting and exciting about the ten year bar and the waiver process. This also sounds a little more detailed than the fox news article.

I'm going to go get me some popcorn. I'm going to stay out of this little quarrel. I've messed up enough using the anchor term.

It's all about momentum so if your folks don't qualify now, they might next time. Look at gay marriage. A lot of things can change too - you might marry a citizen and after 4 years give your parents green cards. No need to panic.

This might actually be a hidden gem in the whole EO. I can see many families benefiting from this part, including me. If I could get a waiver, I'd be set to adjust through my gorgeous wife.

So instead of talking about who is and who is not deserving, and who is entitled and not entitled, how about we put our brain cells together and try to decipher the small amount of information that we have regarding the matter.

Yes, when I saw this info about the waiver and ban I grew real hopeful. There are plenty of administrative fixes the President can make and this is an area that really needs some tweaking.
