Incredibly sad for my parents. I was pretty confident we'd get some kind of relief for parents of DACA recipients a few months ago but it's deflating at the moment.

My parents are putting a strong front because they can see how broken I feel about this. But I know they are extremely disappointed. I feel disappointed in my self. I could've done something I should've done something.

I broke the news to my parents yesterday so that it doesnt come as a surprise. Honestly they don't seem like they give a shit but lets face it, it is heart breaking in the inside. One day we will all live free.

As always, you're going to have to keep your chin up for them. Keep working hard and help them in anyway that you can. We must also keep this movement going forward. I still continued to educate people and to do other small things through my church to spread the word out on immigration reform. We must continue to help everyone as much as possible. This is just a bump in the road, a big one, but we will prevail. I know how you feel, I felt it a few years ago. Keep hope alive and keep positive for your parents. It will be easier for them if they see that you are strong.
