Moderate? Lol. Just because the guy didn't outright cry for our blood doesn't make him a moderate. He refused to take up the immigration bill, wasn't even honest for the reasons (ie. no, fuck you), and would pussy foot around for over a year until the congress ended.

After that he held votes on a lot of anti immigration bills (multiple attempts of defunding DACA, trying to stop eDACA and DAPA), which would never get through the senate or get signed.

Those were all issues his party urges him to comply with. If you haven't realized the tea party nominees are moving to the top now.
The situation has become so bad even fucking Peter Kings, anti-immigration nutjob, stated that the resignation of John Boehner is a victory for the crazies.
