At this point in time is about choosing the lesser of two evils. At least Hillary and Bernie sanders have said they will continue to use executive actions on immigration. All republicans have said they would take them away.

In 2007 Joe Biden, Obama, and Clinton voted for the immigration reform bill that had the entirety of the Dream Act in it. Bernie Sanders did not. More recently, she was aggressively compagining for immigration reform even before Trump came out slinging his hate at it. Is it politics? Well yes, it's all politics, it's a political campaign after all, but she is our best hope. Bernie may reluctantly say a few good things but I don't think his heart is in it and he comes off as disingenuous and again, he voted against the Dream Act (the very website we are on is named after it in case you people don't know).

Dude please don't patronize me. Before DACA, I fought for equal tuition, talked to different senators about immigration reform, told my story to different groups and events, marched with more than 10,000+ to Las Vegas for immigration reform. I have a lot at stake and a high interest that Hillary or Bernie sander win the presidency.

But you and that other guy keep saying Bernie is not in favor of immigration just because he did not vote for the 2007 immigration bill. That bill was never going to pass.

The facts are that Sanders (you can search this information its on the internet.)
1. In 2010, Sanders voted for the DREAM ACT.
2. Sanders supports President Obama’s executive action on immigration.
3. Sanders voted for comprehensive immigration reform in 2013.

so why do you keep saying he is not in favor of immigration reform?

I don't know why you keep saying that sanders comes off as disingenuous? The same could be said about Hillary just watch the videos I posted.

At the end of the day, both parties are playing with the lives of the 11 million undocumented people living in this country.

Obama voted for the 2007, but he did not do anything for the first four years of his presidency. It was not until his second term that his executive actions have helped the community somewhat.

I don't have high hopes of anything changing with Hillary or Sanders. at least we know that they will continue the executive actions. On the other hand all republicans have come out said that they remove executive actions and pass no immigration reform.

Dreamers supporting Sanders: LALALALALA I AM NOT LISTENING LALALALALALA

1. In 2007, Sanders voted against the reform that included the entire text of the DREAM Act.

2. Sanders was completely silent on immigration reform during the current campaign until activists started to twist his arms about his vote as mentioned in #1. To quote Congressman Gutierrez in June, “I don’t know if he likes immigrants because he doesn’t seem to talk about immigrants.”

3. Sanders voted for comprehensive immigration reform in 2013... only after a rider on $1.5 bil program for youth jobs program... while also saying this: "The way the legislation is worded now would let large corporations import hundreds of thousands of temporary blue collar and white collar guest workers from overseas."

Again. Sanders on record yelling "THEY TOOK OUR JOBS!"

I say he comes off as disingenuous because I've listened to the man talk. Have you? Sure during an election season when he's running for the office he has softened his tone and says he wants to help undocumented and all of a sudden after voting against it when it counted is for it but his general view on immigration is that new immigrants drive down wages and hurt the American worker. This is the same bullshit that Republicans have pushed and I for one don't want to support a guy who wants to depress people who will come after me. Read for yourself. http://thinkprogress.org/politics/20...s-immigration/

I appreciate that if elected he would be continuing DACA and that's why I would still rather have him than any Republican but when he thinks that new immigrants hurt American workers, that shows where his heart really is. How can you not see that? Do you think that in his mind he's just talking about "those other immigrants"? It's as if I say "black people drive up crime and we don't want them in our neighborhood, but hey, you black people who are already here are cool and I support your right to be here".

To your points:
1. Great! He finally evolved in 2010 and atoned for the mistakes of his youth except that 2007 was just 3 years earlier and 3 years of our lives apparently didn't mean anything to him.
2. Well yes, of course he supports Obama's plans, he's running for president. Actions speak louder than words. His action when it counted in 2007 was to say no.
3. Again, great! But that doesn't change 2007 and he and people like you STILL defend it. Has he apologized for it? Of course not.

Say what you want about Obama's first term, but he is the only president in History to mention us in the state of the union speech and sign those executive actions. He ran on Obamacare primarily and immigration was secondary. He bit more than he could chew but at least when it's come up to the plate he has always voted for immigration reform.

I just don't get this love affair with Bernie here. He's done nothing for us and yet people just post stuff about him - in the news section even.

Has he promised to expand the deferred action programs if immigration reform doesn't happen? No. That's pretty much all I need to support Hillary. Plus, she is more receptive to immigrants while Sanders' website has little about reform

Which fact is that? If you're going to accuse me, give examples. I've given mine. In 2007 he voted against the Dream Act and guest worker program. Today he says immigration hurts the American workers. Please disprove those two facts if you can and tell me why you think he is better than Hillary for us.

You do realize daca was just a political move for votes right ? Obama was a waste , I support him for all his other policies but as far as immigration goes he's a joke and did nothing . I am extremely grateful for daca , however since you're the one speaking about where these candidates hearts really are at, Obama could give a fuck less about us
