New military bill would benefit DACAs

Congressman Mike Coffman of Colorado has reintroduced the Military Enlistment Opportunity Act of 2015, now called HR 3698. A companion bill has been introduced in the US Senate as S. 2160. The bill would allow all DACAs to enlist in any branch of the US Armed Forces, including any Reserve Component. DACAs who enlist would be able to apply for green cards immediately upon enlistment, and would also be eligible for US citizenship through military service. The branches of the US military that would accept DACAs would include the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, as well as all their Reserve Components and the National Guard. DACAs would not have to speak any foreign language or meet the special MAVNI program requirements if this bill passes. Please call your Congressional Representatives and Senators and tell them that you support HR 3698 and Senate Bill 2160.

I'd sign up for the National Guard,

and it will fail like the Dream Act
