I just checked my online account and in there is says "in process" "Your benefit request has been accepted and is under review." It seems to be that they are dealing with a different system now.

I hope this is all a big misunderstanding for all of you guys. Especially since I have family that are on DACA. But this is starting to sound a lot like what I foresaw. Get us out of the shadows... then throw a huge bag over us.

Ps. Sorry not trying to be a fear monger.. but then again...

Ok let me stop the fear mongering and put some people at ease. Starting on the beginning of the year, USCIS has been "upgrading" (I don't know if you could call upgrading a system that runs pretty much the same way as the one before without noticeable difference but w/e) their system in order to phase over the majority of the applications into electronic filing. Now this hasn't come without problems, and one of them has been the migration (he he) of the old database to the newer system. The system pretty much checks your recent application against previously known cases, and if your case is not in the newer database it will automatically flag it as terminated. Not to worry thought. USCIS (but mainly the PM of the upgrade) knows about the issue and it is solving it accordingly. Unless you get a letter in the mail (big emphasis in MAIL) that says your case has been terminated then your case is truly and undeniably terminated, otherwise it is not terminated and expect getting your renewal in the next 2 1/2 months after your complete the biometrics appointment.

Also, the majority of biometric letters are electronic now, so go and follow the instructions on the letter "Notice of Action" that you received and print it out once you create your account.

Some of you might be wondering "What a minute, how does this Zeo guy knows all of this?" Let's just say I know stuff and let's leave it at that. USCIS will release an official statement after it compiles all the information available and determines a solid solution before it discloses any information (the amount of paperwork necessary for this puts 100 AOS application packets to shame).

Over and out.

We all know you don't work for USCIS.
