I thought the same. How did you submit the letters: email, fax or mail ?

It's not directly related to DACA but I just wanted to point out that it's possible to do the same.

My EAD expires in the first week of October, same as SWIM19. I submitted my renewal 100 days prior to it's expiration date, I thought it was 90-120 days and not 120-150 days. Anyways, I think mine as well as most of the others will be renewed in time.

I think USCIS was slowing down all things related to DACA on purpose. I believe they were waiting on the outcome of the Supreme Court case. If the outcome had been in our favor then they would have issued 3 year EAD cards. If the outcome had been the other way around then that would have opened the doors for republicans to go after the original DACA and those conducts might have forced USCIS to stop issuing EAD cards for DACA beneficiaries.

I had my infopass meeting today (7/29/16).

Renewal filed: 3/26/16
Biometrics: 4/15/16

The lady at the counter told me that my renewal had gone through and that 'it was in the mail'.

My online status hasn't changed since the biometrics.

Haven't received anything in the mail yet.

Here's to hoping...
Alright so that sounded too good to be true. Called the hotline today and they told me that none of what the infopass officer told me was correct.

My application hasn't gone through, it isn't in the mail.

The nice gentleman on the phone explained that the only thing I can do is file a request for service and that the renewals are NOT back dated.

What a emotional rollercoaster... Anyone know if there's a USCIS drug abuse tipline? I'm sure the infopass officer I had was on something.

I guess it's time to call my company's HR dept to talk about leaving on good terms when the 17th comes around so I can still be re-hired whenever the approvals start rolling out.

What do you mean by the renewals not being back dated?

Got an update from Nebraska today:

"Your USCIS Account Number (A-number):
-- Information not available

Type of service requested:
-- Beyond Regulatory Time Frame

The status of this service request is:

The Nebraska Service Center (NSC) is closely monitoring the expiration dates of initial Form I-821D, Consideration for Deferred action for Childhood Arrivals, and Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization Document. We are working the renewals in the order of previous card expirations. There is no authorization to allow expedited processing of the renewals. However, if your card is a few days away from expiring and your case was filed at least four months prior we will review the case to ensure it is in proper placement. You must also have attended your biometrics appointment at the Application Support Center.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience."

I'm not sure why they just don't say the truth. I submitted my application 148 days before its expiration. Needless to say, it's been expired for over 2 weeks now.

Hey at least you have couple more weeks keep your hopes, I had to approach my manager and district manager about my case so I left in good term and can re apply as soon I get my damn card. That's the best way to go about it. I worked for a financial institution HR was already aware of it lol so need to hide it...Good luck!!!
