Not yet! Anxiously waiting for my interview appointment. Just want to be done with it already. I'm sure we won't be any trouble since we been married for almost 6 years now (long before DACA lol). How about u?? Your biometrics appointment is coming up huh?

I received an RFE due to My medical exam expired after one year. My case was pending for 1.5 years but worth the wait.

Hey

Would you mind posing a brief timeline of your AOS case? Just so others and I can know what to expect for our cases.

Thanks

I just got home from my interview.

The officer was super nice. She flipped through our documents and asked us pretty basic questions:
how and where did you meet?
who proposed?
where do you guys live?
how long have you lived together?
how did you come to the country? (EWI)
Have you left the United States? (yes, for AP)

That was pretty much it. We were with her maybe for 10 minutes. She said it would take a couple days to get a decision but I got a text on the uber ride home saying my case status had changed. Logged into the website from my phone and it said my green card was in production. should take about another week to be in my hands.

We paid $2,500 for a lawyer to help us through the process (including AP). It was totally worth it to have that peace of mind. Here's my timeline:

Sent AOS Packet: 4/12/2016
Did Biometrics: 5/8/2016
Received date for interview: 5/23/2016 (interview: 8/15/16)
Received EAD/AP: 7/18/2016
Interview and Approval: 8/15/2016

Good luck folks!
