how did you come to the country? (EWI)
Have you left the United States? (yes, for AP)

That was pretty much it. We were with her maybe for 10 minutes. She said it would take a couple days to get a decision but I got a text on the uber ride home saying my case status had changed. Logged into the website from my phone and it said my green card was in production. should take about another week to be in my hands.

We paid $2,500 for a lawyer to help us through the process (including AP). It was totally worth it to have that peace of mind. Here's my timeline:

Sent AOS Packet: 4/12/2016
Did Biometrics: 5/8/2016
Received date for interview: 5/23/2016 (interview: 8/15/16)
Received EAD/AP: 7/18/2016
Interview and Approval: 8/15/2016

Good luck folks!
Congrats! You are finally free! did she asked specifics on these question?

She asked how I came into the country. I answered that we came in by crossing the border. She asked if we had been apprehended and spoken to immigration. I answered that not as far as I know but that I was three years old so.... then she moved on. haha. It was super easy. My lawyer appeared to know her and said she was actually a supervisor so may be that's why we got approved so quickly.

So nervous! I'm going to try to do a walk-in for biometrics tomorrow. the reason I'm doing a walk-in is because my husband can't take me to my original appointment date because he'll be out of town for work.
