So, just got a response to the email I sent the White House regarding the delay in renewals. Basically says to do all the steps outlined by NILC.

I've never heard of someone asking out of the ELIS system, and by that I mean the online account system that by and large has been seen as a positive (if there can be one) since it provides the most updated information, for the most part.

Hello everyone. Long time lurker here. Decided to finally post to join in on the shared tension most of us are experiencing. I just got off phone with USCIS and they informed me that that there has been an additional 49 days added to processing and that I should call back on day 50 if I haven't been approved. My EAD will expire by then. My stats are as follows:
Priority Date: 05/02/16
Receipt Date: 05/05/16
EAD Expires: 09/26/16

Has anyone else recieved this type of information when they call? I've read about applicants told to call in another 30 days, but 50? WTH?

Guys,so I received my notice of approval for the I-812D today, but no EAD, as the site still shows that's still pending. Do you guys reckon the I-812D notice will be enough for a DL renewal in California?

What the heck is this fuster cluck?

You don't visit the site for 2 years and come back to find the system on fire?

Wife's renewal was received April 15th, did her biometrics and expires September 7th. We haven't heard so much as a peep from USCIS. My app was received on May 15th, biometrics done and still no word but I don't expire until October so I'm not in such a panic.

Has anyone had any luck with any of the means(ombudsman, info pass, etc.) available? Or is it just creating a type of placebo effect for the few type of people getting approved after using said means?

It also seems from the spreadsheet floating around here that the approvals are in a random order with no way to make heads or tails as to how they are going about approving people.

It's a proper cluster cluck indeed.
It's been "Lochte" tales from USCIS. Every phone/email/infopass yields a different answer. I am not sure if they even make an attempt to look at the system for information or just use one of the scripts to get us off their back or if the systems themselves are messed up.

They finally owned up to having a bit of an issue with apps received between Feb-May 14, but not sure what the problem is, who is impacted by it, and why no effort is being made to resolve that ASAP. It is amazing that they are just saying sorry, but nothing they can do when they know that jobs are on the line and they already had guidelines abt extensions in case of their processing delays.

Have you received your biometrics appointment? If not, I would contact them. If yes, then I wouldn't worry just yet.

Guys should I be worried? Both of my status says it has been accepted for processing. Nothing about it being under review.

EDIT- The receipt number right before mine has been approved like days ago. A Couple behind me has been approved as well. Sometimes you wonder how these things work.

I have to wait until 8/21/16 to get another request and I don't know about you but I haven't even received a biometrics appt. I mean it's crazy. The first 2 times I applied, I got everything in 2 months.

Reading through these comments, have you talked to the customer rep. and see if you can talk to a case worker? When I call back Monday I'm going to try asking for someone else with a little more knowledge.
