All of my applications got approved on-time and without any delays (probably lucky but it's 5 out of 6 so far, pending one):

- It is my belief that calling or emailing USCIS when your case is not under extreme delay will not help your case at all. There's no directive by USCIS for DACA applications to be prioritized with the known issues by their new cloud system. People have tried calling their congressman, lawyer, other means of help without much success. If the electronic issues were not happening in Nebraska, i would encourage for you to follow-up on your case but i think that due to the issues right now, 105-150 total days for your application to be approved will be happening for a while.

- By all means, continue to follow-up with USCIS and escalate your problem if you haven't received a BIO letter in 50 days. This is an extreme situation and will prevent your case from even being reviewed. If you have done your bio, your EAD has not expired, and your application is less than 4 months old, i think you have to take your lucky card for now and wait for your approval. Not trying to be mean, but there are people on this forum that know what's going with USCIS right now and will probably advise the same. Applications over 6 months old should be an extreme case and needs to be reviewed by someone in USCIS.

- Create an account at https://my.uscis.gov/account/link If you don't have an access code, call up USCIS and talk to the Help Desk to give you one. This is the best way to keep updated on your case and for most, it will show your bio date complete and all your applications combined

- If you haven't sent your application yet, PLEASE BE AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE WITH ALL YOUR PAPERWORK. I think this is very important. I put the check and my photos on the top of the application, followed by the G-1145 form, the TYPED forms, than evidences in the back. I never created any cover letters or anything fancy because that all gets thrown out anyway. I might be crazy but i tend to think when a case officer look at papework ALL DAY, a nice application package will be gold in their eyes and might incline them to work on that one first (:

I know this is your job and life at stake for most people but i think USCIS is doing what they can to speed things up. Everyone sending emails with questions when their EAD doesn't expire for at least a month would just make things worse IMO. I got scared too when my EAD would expire Sept 4th and it was Aug 7th with no updated but it came almost a month ahead of schedule. Have a little faith that i think this will sort itself out soon.
I agree with some points, for example, the way people are emailing/calling one month before expiration (with bios done), is kind of silly. Plus like you said, it makes matters worse.

However this whole delay is unacceptable. They should have allocated all man power to process the delayed apps instead of skipping to ones they had an easier time with.

Right now it's mostly frustration speaking. I understand they're human, but we are paying for a service. They cashed the money order as soon as they opened my envelope. I expect results.

Agree with some of these points.
However, the reason most early applicants are bugging them often is that there's no consistency in adjudication with them skipping around in random order and no way for applicants to know even tentatively when they maybe approved.
A lot of these delays are not due to application not being filed correctly or sent in an organized manner, although being desperate we look for any patterns.
Also, not many are convinced USCIS is doing everything they can to resolve this mess which some of us are caught up in. Dealing with any other org, applicants impacted by "technical difficulties" with no fault of their own will have been given clear interim resolution steps like extension of work authorization in local office or by mail.
Just saying to keep waiting without firm timelines when you are faced with loss of job, health insurance, and keeping up with family necessities is not helpful and seeing that some of the applicants had to persevere with any assistance options to get them reviewing the case is the only option left for folks closing in on expiration or already expired.

Some of us never even got biometrics and are expired or close to be. I send 5 emails everyday. I paid for a service and I demand I get what we paid for in a timely manner.

Were you able to get a tracking number for it? And did it take 12 regular or business days?
Congratulations! Waiting to get mine in the mail as well!

Hi all! On Sunday (I know, weird) my case status got updated to the following:

08/21/2016 We produced your new card for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization

Yesterday, I checked myaccount and it says:

USCIS has produced your Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) and mailed it to the address you provided.

Green Card? Whatever, I assumed they meant my EAD. So I called, like I was told, to get a tracking number. The level 1 rep was completely clueless (like always) and the level 2 officer told me my card had not been mailed yet and that when it does, my tracking number will appear on my account online.

Has anyone had a similar situation? I remember seeing a post where someone's account also said a green card was being mailed. When did you receive your EAD?
