That is quite alarming that even on ELIS, you didn't see it update. I would call them to make sure.

Okay. Good to hear. I emailed through ELIS as well but will call if nothing by early next week.

spoke to them on Tuesday all they said was maybe we will see something in the next 2 weeks.

My EAD expired 08/03/16

Sent an inquiry through the ELIS system on 8/27, got a response on 9/2 that it was being forwarded to the Nebraska Service Center. This was the generic response from NSC on 9/14:

The Nebraska Service Center (NSC) is closely monitoring the expiration dates of initial Form I-821D, Consideration for Deferred action for Childhood Arrivals, and Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization Document. We are working the renewals in the order of previous card expirations. There is no authorization to allow expedited processing of the renewals. However, if your card is a few days away from expiring and your case was filed at least four months prior we will review the case to ensure it is in proper placement. You must also have attended your biometrics appointment at the Application Support Center.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

Waited almost 3 weeks for a non-helpful response, sigh...

Yo, I'm starting to worry about the EAD. It feels like there's no end to this nightmare. Why is it so hard to actually breathe a sigh of relief?

The fact that NILC sees this as a problem worthy of a separate inquiry with USCIS is worrisome to me. That means that there IS a real problem brewing. I just want to go back to work, guys. DACA is useless without the EAD.
