Well I will know something's wrong if I don't get it today because the average was like 10 days from approval.

My employer claims that when they looked my category of EAD up on e-verify, it says I'm required to bring the actual card in, not just show the approval. They also want me to bring in an updated DL card, which I need the EAD to do. Sigh... I went from thinking it would for sure come today, to not knowing if it will come for another month, if not more. The struggle is too real.

Just got off the phone with a Tier 2 rep who was able to give me a tracking number for my EAD. Although he claims it was mailed on the 15th, the status shows that is was accepted at the Kentucky post office today at 1:50 pm. So another 2-3 days... Sucks that I won't have it today, but at least I know it's actually on its way now.

Does the tracking # show on your Elis account?

I'm surprised that you were able to get a tracking number. While I did the same and the tier 2 told me he doesn't have a tracking number and to call back on Wednesday. when I got approved I also spoke to tier 2 and was told call back Friday. and the next day I got approved. this somehow tells me that they are able to see this info but assholes don't give it to you.

Not that I know of. I've checked mine several times and never saw it on there. I did a Google search and it says you have to ask a Tier 2 rep for it.

I was actually shocked as well... There's no rhyme or reason to the way they do anything. Forgive me if I missed it, but did you speak to them today?

Yes, I did. I got a called back at about 9:45 am PST.

Expired on 8/17 and approved on 9/8
