I swear I gotta do all kinds of tricks to get into ELIS lately.

If anyone needs the link:

Use this after you log in to myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/and go into the landing page.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And it takes forever to load.

And still no approval for me... :'(

Today is my expiration date of my EAD. Turned in letter from attorney to HR department and they are working to see if they can give me up to 60 days to provide approval. I hope we see some mass approvals in the next two weeks. Many prayers to everyone and hopefully USCIS gets this issue resolved.

My attorney and I have done all the steps on NILC website regarding delay. Contacting today state representative to do an inquiry on my case.

Timeline

5/13/16 Application Received (Nebraska)
6/1/16 Biometrics (Los Angeles)
9/18/16 EAD expiration

APPROVAL Pending

Usually don't get many approvals until Wednesday-Thursday. Not unusual.

What is unusual is this whole "mistaken citizenship" thing going on. Hopefully it doesn't affect us anymore than it should.

Just got a call back from USCIS and got my tracking number for my EAD !!

It arrives on Wednesday 21st!! Yes thank God!!

I was approved on 9/7/16

Nice. I got some response saying that due to the increased activity they will only be flagging applications with 10 days or less until expiration...

I sent NILC an emailing asking if they could elevate my case again but they haven't responded.

I first contacted them last Monday and this is the first time they are flagging my case. They did say they have been receiving a lot of e-mails so that it can take some time for them to get back to you. If you haven't heard in a few days then send a followup email.
