5/11 here. Still waiting. Expire 10/2 . Fairly sure I'm going to have to take a leave of absence from work. HR has been good, even provided me with a letter to hopefully expedite process, but of course USCIS wont do shit about it.

Still waiting as well. Received 5/5. It's my last day at work before I go on leave next week. I expire on Sunday. At least people at work have been understanding. My boss is pretty upset at the government right now, ha. Nothing much I can do except wait as I have already done everything I can. Just hoping we don't have to keep waiting much longer.

Last update from me, received my card yesterday 9/22 after being approved on 9/9, I updated the spreadsheet accordingly. Card itself is dated from 9/9/2016 to 9/8/2017, but it doesn't matter since the card didn't arrive until yesterday.

So one of the service requests I sent, it says they responded to it and the request is now closed though I never got an e-mail. I guess I'll have to try again. 2 weeks before expiration, just contacted ILRC

^I had a few of those. Even the scripted/generic auto reply 'in process and we forwarded it to nsc' counts as closing out a inquiry ticket, so bombard them via whatever means.

Same happened to me. Their response was in my ELIS inbox the following day

I've seen posts where DACA gets approved but not EAD, well I got approved for DACA and received my letter (2 of them with the same date except sent 1 day apart).

Anyways I just checked and I was approved for my EAD 12 days ago and still have not received my card or notice letter. Has anyone been through something like that! I hope it didn't get lost.

Here is my timeline so far:

APPLICATION SENT: 08/23/16
SERVICE CENTER: IOE ? :O
BIOMETRICS: early walk-in on 09/02/12
APPROVAL: DACA approved 9/12/16 on both notices. (notice dates: 1. 9/12/16 and 2. 9/13/16)
EAD allegedly approved on 9/11 before my DACA. :S No card yet.

Every time I file its been faster and faster. I lost 2 months now. Every time I send all the evidence I can the first time was the hardest. Now I have a lot of paper trail which I hope makes it easy for them to approve. I'm just super nervous about my EAD card.

2 weeks before expiration here too. Today is my flex day and will go this afternoon to talk to HR to see if I may have the option of a leave of absence since I work for a local government. I have enough savings to continue to make my mortgage and car payments for 2 months; otherwise, I may lose my house and car...

I think I finally got approved!! This is what both of my cases say now "USCIS has approved your application or petition, or request. USCIS will mail your proof of benefit or USCIS action to you."

Here'a my timeline:
Application received by USCIS Feb 18
Biometrics: march 15
Approved: today?

It still needs to sink in. Hopefully it does mean I'm approved.

So I just got this email from the congressmen's office representative that was checking my case:


"This e-mail message is in reply to your inquiry regarding (xxxxx) Form I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and his Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, which your constituent filed with USCIS on 05/04/2016.

USCIS records indicate your constituent’s DACA renewals request are in a queue for processing at the Nebraska Service Center (NSC); however, the processing of these cases are not complete. We are currently reviewing these types of applications received on 03/16/ 2016 or earlier. We understand the applicants’ frustration; please assure the applicant that USCIS is striving to resolve these issues as soon as possible. Once USCIS review is completed, these cases will be processed as expeditiously as possible under applicable laws, regulations and policies. Unfortunately, agency guidelines do not allow for the expedited processing of Form I-821D/ I-765 DACA cases. We cannot state, at this time, when the review process for these application will be completed."
