needless to say i am overnighting them new pictures

the fact that it took them 2 weeks to notify me - and only after several congressional inquiries and calling tier 2 reps EVERYDAY is beyond infuriating. And the fact that they keep giving me different dates is insane.

if your application or EAD is delayed - do NOT wait. Hound them, call, email, reach out to orgs. Because otherwise USCIS will NOT contact you

Well I don't think that is the only reason for all delays. Photos are taken at biometrics. Sounds like there was an issue with the photo taken at biometrics and the passport pictures first sent aren't meeting the required spec? That's my guess at least.

I did the same and I provided HR with my acceptance receipt and Biometrics receipt I also explained what was going on and she said that it was enough with those documents, I expired on 08/03 and I have been working like that since then
