Thanks for the clarification. Will look into this...

Hi everyone, just joined the forum. Like a lot of you guys I too have been dealing with my case being delayed. My renewal was received on 5/5/16 and have not gotten approved yet. I reached out to ILRC and they have elevated my case, I have also submitted a request online to uscis but that hasnt been addressed yet, I submitted that on 9/15. I expire this Friday so I hope I get approved by then.

They will most likely tell you that they are only elevating cases within two week expiration and to contact them in a week if not approved by then.

I'm going to do that later today. Went to my new job today, they didn't rescinding the job offer but they did tell me I will have to stop working the day my permit expires.

No word in case status site, will check ELIS later.

This is so frustrating!!

To those of you working past your EAD expiration date,

What are the repercussions of doing this? Isn't it illegal? Could this come back to you in the future? I remember reading once that employers get fined in the thousands for employing illegal immigrants/out of status/aliens not authorized to work.

Yes exactly what happened to me. But when I call the uscis number... it says its in production.

Approved 9/12
Production (in Case Tracker) 9/14. ELIS reverted to "In Process"
Card Produced (in Case Tracker) 9/21. Immediately got updated again to just say "Application approved." ELIS updated to Card Produced & Mailed.
No status update but mailed 9/23 (Called Tier2 to get tracking number)
Received 9/26

All said and done 14 days from approval.
Good luck to everyone who is still pending or waiting for the card.

Hey guys first post in a long time. I have been on this thread since it was posted. I expired yesterday, Sept 25. I checked my status 20 mins ago and find that both my DACA and EAD has been approved. Heres the status message.
"USCIS has approved your application or petition, or request. USCIS will mail your proof of benefit or USCIS action to you."
Im so stoked!!! On to the waiting game of card production and reception. Hopefully all goes well and no delays like some of you guys are experiencing. Now to update that spreadsheet. Im an early May applicant, 05/04/2016, so I think USCIS is slowly progressing on their approvals. Good luck to all of you that are still waiting. Hopefully Im just the first of many approvals this week. Keep your hopes up guys!!!

Heres my timeline:
Expiration: 09/25/2016
App received: 05/04/2016
Bio received: 05/07/2016 scheduled for 05/26/2016.
Walk in: 05/16/2016
App Approval: 09/26/2016
EAD arrival: TBD

18 days since my approval and no EAD. No straight answers from USCIS, NILC, or ILRC. Like everyone, I am mentally and emotionally exhausted of waiting and dealing with such an imbecilic and incompetent government agency. There is no transparency, rampant inefficiency, and absolute lack of accountability.

I did some research last night and found that applicants of other types of EADs are also experiencing the same issue. Their jobs are also lost, and USCIS is doing nothing to fix the problem. No interim EADs for them, either. I don't get why this problem is not receiving more widespread attention.
