In Minnesota you can use your I-797 for your driver license "status check" as well. It gets you 5 more months.
Hopefully I will have a new EAD by then.

My card went into production a day after yours so I'm sure we'll receive it within the same time period. Case tracker ays the same thing as yours, ELIS is still "processing".

Following the other thread, here's a tentative timeline after approval
2-3 days - To begin production
6-7 days - Card production to be completed
2-4 days - To be mailed out (This is when tier-2 reps can provide tracking info)
2 days - USPS to deliver it
