People like me adjusting status from within the U.S just have to deal with USCIS.

I guess it's time for me to get everything ready and send it ASAP. It's going to be costly but I am glad to be at this point.
From what I gather the I-485 is $1070 and the Supplement A is $1,000.
I used 245(i) as well to Adjust within the US.

I filed all the following forms (self filed/no lawyer)
(1) 245(I) AKA I-485 supplement A is $1,000
(1) I-485 is $1,070
(1) I-130 is $420
(1) I-864 is $0
(1) I-765 is $0
(1) I-131 is $0
(1) I-693 varys with every civil surgeon for immigration medical exam it cost me $500 and also depends on if you need any new vaccinces that could add up even more make sure to take your vaccination record with you to your appointment with the DR.
(3) I-G32A is $0
(2) G-1145 is $0

So my total for immigration fee's were $2,490
Not including the medical exam because you pay the doctor not immigration for that fee and any other little thing like passport pictures cost and ect ect.

You also have to pay $120.00 for NVC to review your I-864. NVC will send you a bill at a later time.

Dreamer921..... In your signature you have an AOS Interview date listed. Since your AOS is similar to mine, can you tell me more about the interview? Thanks.

I don't have to pay that fee I am adjusting my status in the US at a USCIS Local Field Office, NOT in a Embassy.

Hey Diplok, the interview was very quick and simple. Look at my profile here and find my post about the interview. I wrote down the questions I was asked. Plus the following two questions which I had forgotten about:

1. Are you married?
No
2. Do you have kids?
No

The reason I think they asked that was to confirm F1/F2B status and not the category of "married sons/daughters of US citizens."

Let me know if you find the post and/or have any other questions. Best of luck!

Fees: There is no fee when filed with USCIS or abroad with the Department of State (DOS). DOS does charge a fee when this form is filed in the U.S. For more information, please visit the Department of State website.

I guess this contradicts the above.

Just to clarify the above issue, the only fees I paid were the I-485 fees plus the 245i fees. I didn't have to pay I-130 fees since I already had a prior approved petition. The affidavit of support does not have a fee, and I didn't have to pay for DOS/NVC or any other agency to look at it.

Thank you for settling the issue. I'm considering filing form I-864W instead of I-864 as I already have 40 quarter credits per SSA. It is also a much simpler form.
