I wish I knew...I am on the same boat as you and I think it could jeopardize you if caught some how unless you lay low and you don't work for a huge company.

That's right I am calling everyday, twice a day...enough is enough the stress and toll this is taking on everyone is wrong. I got off the phone with a T2 recently and they told me my case has been assigned to a officer in NSC so I don't know what that means cause they didn't tell me so hope it is good and not some generic answer.

Hey so I talked to a T2 officer and he said it could affect us later on (I expired on the 29) and I'm still working. I work for my school. I was going to take a leave of abscence but I decided to call a lawyer and he said it wouldn't affect me so I guess it's pretty much up to u. Personally, I can't afford to be outta work because of USCIS being so incompetent

I think it could be a way of USCIS trying to scare you but in my case being out of work would destroy me...thank you USCIS for the ton of stress on a simple renewal process. Sometimes I feel like im in a nightmare and cant wake up

After you get approved how long does it take to get your approval notice? For both applications

What's your timeline ? They received my application on May 5th and did my biometrics on May 26th. The T2 officer I talked to said the last time they reviewed my case was on August 22nd. This is so frustrating and annoying. They're taking their sweet time for a simple renewal and yet they took our money right away

I would like to tell you that it is not a generic answer but I can't. I called the USCIS and was told that my case isn't even assigned to an immigration officer for review yet. Receipt date is 5/15.

Last week a rep told me that it was assigned to an officer. So I don't know what or who to believe anymore. The only solace is that people are getting approved eventually so its not a matter of if but when.
