This renewal has been so frustrating. I hope USCIS gets their act together soon. I lost my job 4 days after getting the promotion, for which I had worked for 3 1/2 years. I have done absolutely everything possible and everyone with USCIS is so useless. All I keep on getting is, "I'm so sorry, I understand it can be frustrating". They need to put themselves in our shoes, we can't get any aid, no one will pay our cars or mortgage. Some of us are losing jobs that do not come up every single day. I'll have to start all over again and pray my position becomes available soon. I truly hope we all get approved soon and we can forget about this ordeal. Good luck everyone... I just felt I needed to vent.

I am a mess, and I have barely been at this job that I liked for 4 months. I am just going to disappear from the job on that date. I told my supervisor about the situation, and he was supportive. However he was surprised about what it's like to be a DACA worker. I don't know if people will find out at work.
I knew something was wrong with this renewal. Ever since I started my job I had been saving money.
Today is day 91 I think.
It is unfortunate that they did not put you on leave of absence. Hopefully they can hire you back after you are approved.

This renewal mess has been a nightmare for all us that have expired.

Hopefully we get a wave of approvals this week. Do not lose hope!

today marks 231 of my wait. I have the new oficial record due to the incompetence of USCIS. There is no excuse for my wait. I haven't had any A.P. I had never had any encounters with the law and I held a job for the 2 years of my previous permit and I continuously went to school. This an unacceptable behavior from a government agency. When democrats say the immigration system is broken, they are not joking.

Its annoying when every time you talk to a T2 person they always have a different answer. T2 officer said processing for DACA has slowed because of the overwhelming amount of applicants and renewals also the amount of people trying to get naturalized for voting. When is this voter registration deadline over with?

Wow, that bubble was burst real fast. I have another infopass appointment tomorrow. On my first appointment they guy told me to fax them a letter explaining my story. I did, but I don't think that was very productive. I've done just about everything else to get attention to my case. I know there are a lot of people who have been waiting longer than me, but there's also people after me who have been approved. USCIS is such a pain.

Its a complete joke. This is their fault, if you look up qualifications for expediting a case many of us in this situation would qualify, I don't understand why they aren't doing that!

Well after that I would hope they would shift a bunch of their resources towards DACA and the renewals

it just doesn't make sense, the longer they take, the more resources they spend on doing absolutely nothing. It's not like they don't have resources, thats why we pay the application fee.

I take that back! Just got an email that my card is in production. I checked ELIS and my DACA is approved, but my EAD has no updates yet. So excited though!
