I did attend a second InfoPass today, and they told me to expect my EAD to arrive around the 20th. Unfortunately, I have to fly for work on the 18th. Anyone know if it's okay to fly within the US with just the DACA approval letter?

For all of you who are still waiting, this is what I did to help my case along. Immediately after I exceeded 105 days pending I did everything listed on this site:

https://www.nilc.org/wp-content/uplo...is-delayed.pdf

I filed for help from the NILC and ILRC. The ILRC did respond and said my case had been elevated the same day I contacted them. I also contacted Ombudsman’s office. I completed their required info, and instead of listing my case as simply a delayed case, I said it was an urgent case. I am working outside my home state, and if I expire I would be stranded somewhere else with no way of getting home safely. They sent an automated email with another email address listed as a possible contact. I emailed them immediately with the case number they gave me and asked for urgent help. I contacted my corresponding representative, but their office did say it could take a week for someone to look at my case, not sure that anyone ever did.

That website also list additional email addresses to contact, and I sent them all my story and why I needed help ASAP. Lastly, I also sent this story along with a letter from my employer via fax to the Nebraska center as suggested by an employee at an InfoPass appointment. I never received a response from them. I did however receive an update from the ILRC and Ombudsman’s office that my case had been approved. I'm not sure if that means they had a hand in it, or if they simply checked my case out and noticed it was approved. I of course also filed inquiries with USCIS online and over the phone. They responded today saying my case had been approved already.

Again, I started all as soon as I was past 105 days pending, and I was approved approx one week later. I'm sure a lot of you have done the same without any positive results. Maybe it was just luck, but I was as proactive as I could possibly be.

Hope this helps you guys!

I wouldn't bring up DACA with TSA at the airport. All you need is a government issued ID and your boarding pass. I would have a copy of the DACA approval letter on me, though.

We have a similar timeline and I just did everything on the worksheet. Hopefully I get some good news done! All I have left is to speak with my congress representative to see if they can help!

I finally got approved for my EAD!

DACA Expiration -
09/30/2016

Timeline:
06/02/2016 - USCIS Received Application
07/03/2016 - Biometrics appointment (received letter after my appointment -_- so did a walk-in)
08/15/2016 - Submitted an address change to USCIS (God help me if they fuck it up, but I have my old mailbox key just in case.)
10/05/2016 - Card is being "produced" (produced in quotations since I see the backlog of people waiting for their cards)

I think the important part here is did you guys get processed from Nebraska or a different center?

Nebraska is so backlogged right now it's not even funny.

My application was received in May 11 and I expired on September 30. If they are processing June applications then something is really wrong.
