Hahaha! then you're good. But, yes, even a President Trump can't take the political risk to overturn it.

Mine went into production 9/23...no sign of it since

That's the same time mine went into production. Let's see who gets it when.

Don't be surprised if he does.

Hello all,

I have never actually posted here, but I appreciate all the help and resources that this forum has been for me. I am currently a senior at a university in an engineering program. As you all may be aware, senior year is where the job hunt really begins. I was solely relying on my EAD, so that I may be able to do what I want to do, however, through this delay, I have already expired like many of my fellow dreamers.

Looking back at the renewal process, I keep thinking to myself what else I could have done differently. The date my package was received at USCIS was may 12, which incidentally falls within their delay days. I then started to think about how If i had waited one more week, instead of being so impatient and sending my documents in on the 150 day mark and instead aimed closer to the 120 mark, the outcome may have been different. Or that if I had gone to the biometrics appointment when I was scheduled to go in rather than going in to the USCIS center for a walk-in biometrics, I wouldn't have this issue. But, as we all know all too well, contemplating the past will not change anything, and it will only make the situation more depressing.

Through browsing this forum, and looking at the posts in the threads, I see that others are going through similar experiences, and are getting desperate and feeling helpless. I read from an earlier post that the reason for delay is due to background checks. The funny thing is that when I contacted USCIS regarding the delayed response time (mine says pending since May 12th. It doe not get updated, and nothing ever changes) the reply was that they need further information on my background. I found this to be hilarious because I don't even have a single parking violation. I've been in a university the last five years and I stay out of trouble, like so many of us DACA recipients do. We try to remain under the radar, or at least I do....

I just wanted to write a post here to let everyone know that no matter the struggle, you are not alone. I feel a little safer every time I come visit the forum because I know there are others who understands the cause behind my biggest struggle. It puzzles me so much that I have spent more than half of my life in this country, and this is the only home I know, yet I not even allowed to be here. It's absolutely insane and crazy and a little part of my soul gets crushed when my oblivious friends ask me who I'm voting for. LMFAOOO

Thanks for reading, and that is all for tonight.

TL;DR: DACA approval has been pending since May 12. No change on website. Expired 9/30/16. Losing my mind.

I'm new to this and I need help on my DACA renewal, please.

I'm going to be completing my DACA renewal for the second time. The first renewal I had it professionally done. This year I can't afford to get it done again. So far I've completed everything. I just have one question about form I-765 on question 11.
It asks if I've ever applied for employment authorization before from uscis? I know the answer is yes, I know what office sent me the approval this last time, the thing that throws me off is on the section that says list DateS, I don't know if by making it plural they want us to list all the times we have applied, or if they just want the most recent time?
Someone please help.

I do believe they ask for the most recent one. That's what I put down.

I really hope so, I worked at an immigration office for about a month, but they didn't have me learning to fill out the DACA packet a lot. Just in case they wanted both times I made a continuation page, exactly as they ask on the instructions page for I-765. But I don't know if that would delay my process.
